The Mets are apparently shopping Carlos Carrasco. They could use a utility guy like Urias.   Carrasco for Urias makes sense and we only have to pay him for next season.   He makes 14 million next year but he was much better then Gibson last year.

It is definitely fair to wonder if the pitchers they offered multiple year contracts too are still out there or did they all sign or what?

It's fair to wonder but what good is it going to do us?   We have ZERO information.  We can guess and assume.   Seems like they would have been in on Taillon and Bassitt?   Maybe they didn't want to go 4 years on Taillon.   It would be tougher to figure out why they wouldn't do 3/63 for Bassitt if it was just a matter of having the best offer.

Well, if some of the guys that they offered the deals to are still out, it lets us know that they are still in on guys or if they would now be looking at only trade targets.

I'd be fine with this and it's probably the best case scenario we can expect in return for someone like Urias. I'd like Tyler Megill or David Peterson a lot more though.
