Things picked up - 20,823 tonight.  With the possibility that tomorrow could be the clincher, I’d guess they’ll have a bigger crowd tomorrow.

Many seats sold in the last week for the Nationals  series.  Around 1,800,000 after tonight with the Red Sox series left. Looks like 132,115 or so for that series.

Over 24,000 yesterday. Now at 1,801,273 with four games to go.  Should have around 142,000 or so  for the Red Sox series. 1,944,000 or so  for the year is higher then I thought.

I'd love to see the P&L for the Orioles.  We all know Angelos is a liar regarding what the Os can afford and not afford in terms of long-term contracts.  But this thread got me thinking...~2MM people at an avg ticket price of $34 (link to avg ticket price:  https://www.statista.com/statistics/203453/baltimore-orioles-average-ticket-price/) basically pays the entire big league roster by itself.  Sponsorships/Concessions/Concerts etc likely pay the front office staff and other facility/minor league expenses.  So basically Angelos is pocketing close to $100MM annually ($60MM national TV share + $40MM MASN TV share).  Heck, let's say I underestimated the "other expenses" outside of the MLB payroll by $50MM....he's still pocketing $50MM/year....

Highest attendance since 2017 and higher than 2009-11.

Should be comfortably back over 2 million next year with people who bought ticket plans for playoff access. I would be surprised if we can reach the 2.46M peak from 2014 without a World Series run this year, but things are definitely looking up.

I'm surprise he doesn't apply for food stamps.

I’m sure they blew through every expectation.  Having a close divisional race decided in the final series is a huge boon.  Really, things couldn’t have worked out better for them.

I think the Splash Zone was a real stroke of genius.  Whoever thought of that should get a bonus.  Not only did those tickets sell well, but the constant images of it during the games just conveyed how fun the atmosphere is at the ballpark.

My ass wouldn't be sitting in the splash zone tonight. It's not fun when it's mid 50's 🤣

Don't forget about paying all the stadium and warehouse employees, the promo giveaway producers, oaying Sarasota FL, and especially the international complex infrastructure and all it's employees in the Dominican Republic.

There's alot of overhead fans don't even think about. Including powering a 45k capacity stadium with state of the art lighting and jumbo tron with fireworks.

Can you even call is a jumbotron when it's the smallest in the league?
