I know we have A LONG WAY to go!! But if this Cano thing is real... I'm getting a little 96' Yanks Wetteland and Mariano vibes. Not saying ANYBODY can match Mariano for a career but just reminds me of that late almost automatic end of the game dominance. Hopefully without the off field issues of Wetteland though.

Mateo might regress some, and probably will, but he is a different hitter this year.  I think he liked being in the majors last year and wants to stay and put in the work to do so.
