Lester is a corner infielder. He plays both 3B and 1B. My guess is that we might see him tomorrow as an attempt to kick start the offense, especially with Gunnar having been pulled due to back tightness.

I’m assuming that they thought rehab was a good way to go but that seems to have backfired. Go ahead and get it over with, I agree. 

Yeah, we've seen this before where some guys respond to rest and rehab and others need to see the doctor. Since it's a potentially career ending surgery (though most go well) I think they try to cautious route first unless they see a tear.
