That's now 11 times in a row that the Orioles have scored in an inning, and held the opponent scoreless in the half inning immediately following.   And 22 out of 25 dating back to June 26.

Amazing how good we are at that.

In the Buck Showalter era, it seemed they gave back runs in the next inning all the time.

I always wonder why when games get like this, why teams don’t take their starters out like in other sports.

I’d get Rutschman out. Get Urias out after what just happened.

Most of the other sports you can put them back in if someone gets injured.

Because the other team could have big innings too and once you take someone out in baseball, you can't send them in again. It's not like the NFL or NBA.

Probably one of the few pics with they're sleeves exposed.

Might have something to do with the handedness of the batter. They might keep the side facing the camera blank for when they use the ads on the sleeve?

LONG half inning.   Kyle Gibson's been sitting a long time.

And according to Palmer, Gibson got some throwing in while the Orioles were batting.

Interesting, I'd never heard of that before.

Did he go out tot he bullpen or is there somewhere inside behind the dugout where he can throw?
