They should have never stopped counting GWRBI. It is the most clutch stat.

I wouldn’t say he only had a “hit tool”.  309 homers and more walks than strikeouts.  I don’t really consider plate discipline as part of hit tool but maybe I’m wrong.

Wade Boggs has over 80 offensive WAR and barely hit any home runs. For the stat heads out there those are some stats for your ass. It always comes down to bat on ball.

Didn't you look at the last CBA?  It's part of the playoff tiebreaker.

Teams get a point for every 2 out RBI and it's the final tiebreaker.
