Gibson's third pitch of the game was a called strike at the bottom of the zone.  When I saw that I said to myself "Gibson is going to have a good game--he's got an ump that will call low strikes".   So far it doesn't seem like my prediction is likely to come true.

If Gibson can't have success against this lineup, in this stadium, with this umpire, then I don't have much hope for him the rest of the season.
