I'm sorry but what does O'Hearn have to do with Chirinos? Totally different set of functions on the team.

I'm not going to look it up but I'll owe you a few rounds if the majority of responses were not either negative, befuddlement, or disinterest--and they were based on a very clear record of O'Hearn not having done well at all with the Royals the previous four seasons (OPS+'s all between 69 and 73).  I think I was one of the few--if not the only poster--to point out that there was some hope in the fact that he seemed like a phenom his first season.

Aaron Hicks hasn't given us much since he had a good start with us.....he's not better than Hays...

I didn't have a problem with O'Hearn. I also didn't think that he would be an above-average player this year and I didn't think the O's would be leading the division at any point this year. Glad I was wrong about the last 2 things.

I don’t think anyone thinks he is. Probably just a rest day for Hays and a chance to get Hicks re-acclimated.

This umpire is horrible he has to have missed more than 20 pitches.  Maybe 10 by 6inches or more

You can fit a bus through this guy's strike zone.  Especially on the outside corner.

I can’t complain too much about Rutschman, but it would be nice to have some speed at the top.

The strike zone is about as wide as the basepaths.
