Flaherty honestly seems like a headcase. I don't think he'd want to pitch out of the pen. Right move is to release him.

Lots of St. Louis fans hated Flaherty and his attitude, and I can see why after watching his post-game interviews and the odd break he took from the rotation when he didn't "recover" well from a start last month.

You can see in his demeanor that he is a malcontent. A guy that isn’t part of the team but a guy who thinks he should be revered. I don’t think they will release him but I kinda think they should. He may be a cancer to the team.

I agree. He is not likable, and is not an effective pitcher. Bad combination.

I don't know if he's a headcase or some kind of bad fit in the clubhouse but he's completely ineffective right now. I would "offer" him the IL as a way to explain his terrible end of the season to clubs as he heads into free agency. If he was unwilling to do that then, yes, he has to be released.

Flaherty was a misstep by Elias. Should not have been starting today and needs to go as soon as possible.

All the comments on his personality and demeanor continue to be based on pretty much nothing. 

I thought the results matched the eye test tonight in that he looked excellent at the start but faded fast. 

He should have already been moved to the bullpen, but I hope they do it now and find a way to bring Irvin back up if they want the 6 man rotation.

I never had any expectations of Jack Flaherty than to see him do what he's done. Which is struggle. My only waiver in this was when he surprised me with his 1 single dominant start in Toronto. But outside of that, he's been exactly what I expected which is why I reacted so negatively towards the news of the trade at the deadline.

The Orioles 6 man rotation should be...

The order can be adjusted... But notice, that Flaherty's name is not in that list.

Some teams chose to improve their team at the deadline, the O's gave away talent that came back to shut them out and had Jack Flaherty pitch them out of the AL East lead

He should have been released. 

I said 3 weeks ago that he would not make the playoff roster and folks actually disagreed.

He has been very bad for a long time.

It was pretty frustrating that the team wasn't willing to make a serious move to upgrade the roster at the deadline.
