I am 50/50 on Cease.  It would depend on what we gave up.  I like to think we can be a place where analytics, pitch mix, etc could help a guy like that.  I get why people like him, big guy, throws hard, etc...but I don't know if I'm completely sold on him.

Cease can be an upgraded version of Kyle Gibson on next year's pitching staff, but until Cease comes close to replicating his 2022 stat line again he can't be regarded a TOR starting pitcher.

It's going to depend on the White Sox trade demands they were rumored to be asking for Jackson Holliday at the trade deadline for Cease. If the White Sox don't get reasonable with their demands Elias and most other GM's aren't going to bother talking with them.
