So far we haven't heard the anticipated Kevin Brown quietly leaving the organization report....if Brown returns in 2024, he could have a whole other season to figure out how to come at the "Shohei who?" type of hometown announcer fluff.

And what is Ohtani thinking? He has the chance to go to a team that actually has high chances of multiple World Series and instead he picks the Jays? Sure they're smarter than the Angels, but... I dunno, I think he's making a pretty wild mistake coming to the AL East for where he's at in his careeer.

It's not just them, it's going to be twitter and all the smaller outlets and the broadcasts, etc. I love Ohtani, but I absolutely despise the Blue Jays. It's the worst case scenario for enjoying his talents.

there is at present no decision made by Shohei Ohtani, nor is there a timeline for a decision #BlueJays are a finalist. We'll see where it leads.

Unlike every other American team, the Blue Jays broadcast every game to an entire country. Seaborn says that means Rogers can offer a bigger audience for baseball's biggest star.

Sounds like big plans for Ohtani as an employee of Rogers Communication.
