Renfroe's play was doubly  huge because it allows Quartraro to bring in a righty to face Mountcastle with the bases empty instead of having the struggling lefty being forced to face him (3 batter rule) with a runner in scoring position.

Well, I do have a better feeling against this bullpen then I did against the starter.

3,4,5 coming up, but not exactly a murderer's row of Mountcastle, Santander and Westburg.

if could do it again, I wouldn’t run on Renfroe and have Mounty against the LHP (since KC couldn’t go to bullpen given minimum batters).  Then force KC to confront walking or not. 

Hindsight is super convenient lol. You try to get into scoring position 10 out of 10 times on that.
