I don't think he was joking.   Stowers pulled his hands in and turned on a fastball up and in and lined it sharply to right (110 mph EV)

OK, wish I could have seen it.  With all the swing and miss I was hoping he would hit something eventually.

This team just doesnt do the little things well. Leadoff double HAS to score ...

How many times have O's had runner on 2nd or even 3rd w no outs this year and still not scored?  Seems too many to count.

This offense reminds me a lot of the Duquette type of offense. Lots of power, no obp ability and no ability to work counts. Just a lot of unproductive and quick outs.

But why?  Isn't the Orioles entire draft and development process basically focused on the opposite of what we're seeing?  Call it what you'd like, plate discipline, controlling the zone, pitch recognition, etc.  Where the F is all of that?  Where are the approaches that resulted in video game like OBPs on the path to Baltimore?  I get that Mounty, Hays, Santa and Mullins are what they are, and they are all freezing cold right now, but the young kids are hacking at everything, too.  It's driving me crazy.
