I’d already suspected that many folks have drawn all their conclusions about Toronto pitchers (Berrios and Kikuchi good, Bassitt bad) based almost entirely on how they’ve pitched against us recently.

But the absolute consternation that we’re getting stymied by Chris Bassitt — who is very much one of the 20-25 best SPs of the last half-decade — is pretty strong confirmation of that.
