I was wondering the same thing. Maybe Wieters will be a late substitution.

Weiters will probably go to the Hawaiian League. I seem to remember Jordan saying it was either that or Arizona.

I think he can be called up because Cameron Maybin is listed on the Peoria team.

Reimold could still get called up. But if you've watched how the Orioles dole those out every September it would be a surprise if he got one.

The season is Oct 9th through Nov 15th.

This should not impact call ups. Especially for Reimold and Penn who missed alot of the year.

I guess it could shorten the call up for Johnson and Fiorentino.

Is it me, or is this one of the better groups the O's have sent to the AFL?

I'm sure I'm not alone, but I really cannot wait too see what these guys do there. Especially, Reimold, Arrieta, McCrory and Penn.

This is one of the best, if not the best group, of prospects that the Orioles have ever sent. All of these players are still prospects. In years past, we have sent scrubs.

Where will Arrieta be starting next season? He will be facing mostly AA and AAA hitters in the Fall League. If he is successful, could he be in Bowie to start next season? A rotation of Erbe, Arrieta, Spoone, Hernandez, Berken in AA would be pretty good.
