I've got to be honest. I would have pulled him from the game there. That was amazingly bad. I've also got to ask Samuel what he was doing if I'm DT.

That was just an awful, awful mistake. These guys' heads are so far down right now. Wow...

As many mistakes as Samuel makes...

I mean, I'd like to see another replay to get an idea exactly what he (Samuel) was doing. If he wasn't trying, or not trying very hard, to stop Roberts and send him back, he should be replaced tonight.

BTW, could Adam Jones have three worse at bats with runners on base than the three he has had tonight? He is overanxious and gets himself out the first two times up. The last at bat he takes to get to 2-0 and then hits a cookie right at the SS.

He's had crappy AB's ever since he hit those HR's in the first inning. was it 2-3 days in a row?

DH isn't afraid to throw his fastball for strikes.

I like watching him pitch, and every start like this really encourages me that he could stick in the rotation going forward. I've seen enough of a repertoire to believe him.

He's definitely got what it takes.
