Brentz is broken

Bryce Brentz will miss two to three weeks with a hairline fracture on the inside of his right ankle.

If that's all he misses, how much impact will this have on his draft stock? If he continues to play well when he comes back, I don't think it'll hurt him too badly. Obviously, if he misses more time it could get worse for Brentz.

Also, an interesting part of this story is that he injured himself while messing around with teammates pre-game.

Not a big deal at all. He's been what everyone expected -- if MTSU makes regionals that will matter most. Also, might be somewhat important that he plays in the Vandy in-week game (though it won't be against any of the Vandy weekend arms).

Still likely mid- to late-1st rounder, I'd imagine, given the competition. Could sneak higher, though.
