    • If we push up Grayson and Burnes to pitch on 4 days normal rest and skip Bradish vs Philly, we would then get Bradish on extra rest plus Grayson and Burnes vs NYY. We would lose Bradish against the Phils but he would get extra rest and a lineup of Bradish-Grayson-Burnes against our division rival.  Povich and Irvin could pitch out of the bullpen, and we could use extra lefties with Danny C out.  6/9 Grayson vs TB 6/10 Burnes vs TB 6/11 Suarez vs ATL 6/12 Povich vs ATL 6/13 Irvin vs ATL 6/14 Grayson vs PHI 6/15 Burnes vs PHI 6/16 Suarez vs PHI 6/17 OFF DAY 6/18 Bradish vs NYY 6/19 Grayson vs NYY 6/20 Burnes vs NYY
    • I selfishly would like to see Povich get a start or two more. I agree with Palmer that Saurez stuff looks better starting than in bullpen. Tough decisions for Hyde but maybe Irvin going to Pen after today helps the team most.
    • I don’t care what they’re doing, I don’t consider Cowser’s season tremendous at this stage.   He’s been up and down.  95 games to go and he could still make a good ROY run.  Seems like most of the best rookie performances have been in the NL.  If the awards were given today, Luis Gil (8-1, 2.04 ERA) almost certainly would win in the AL.
    • Jag , your second paragraph described me perfectly , lol . Beyond the batting average, rbi , k , bb , obp, era , I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ or can’t describe any new stats . Oh well, life goes on
    • I must have missed this post the first time. The ignore user fuction on this board has increased my enjoyment of the board quite a bit. I highly recommend it. I agree with you that this thread should be in the minors section. I just assume it's still here because of Holliday's cup of coffee in the majors.
    • He’s also had a few very clutch hits in his short career. I remember a couple in Boston and now this one.
    • Yeah, he's been in a slump for a while but easy to forget he's still a rookie.  Still learning.  Needs to cut down on those Ks a bit.  I think he will. Gotta love the improvement from last year.
