If GameDay is to be believed, this ump is consistently giving pitches 3-6" off the outside part of the plate when a LHB is up.

There is a disjunction between GameDay and the CF camera. The calls on outside pitches to LHB look reasonable; it's the inside pitches to those batters where he seems to be most generous.

The overhead view, when available, seems to bear this out. The called third strike to Pie in the 2nd inning seems marginal on GameDay; on the overhead view, that pitch is clearly several inches inside -- over the batter's box chalk, as someone here correctly called it.
