One of the more interesting parts was mention of a game where he threw 10 scoreless innings on September 4th, outlasting Yu Darvish.

The Marines won the Series a day or two after this article. Not bad work for a guy who doesn't have a good baseball name...

I can't remember being more disheartened to see a prospect flame out than when Hayden's slow unfolding happened. I really thought he was going to be something special.
