At the end of the day, the Nationals need a lefthanded bat more than a righthanded one. I would think the Nationals will bid up on LaRoche for that reason.

Anyone figure that maybe it got leaked out, but he doesn't want it to be made official until Lee has passed his physical. I think it's a done deal, but could be as simple as he needs to fly there to sign and make sure he's heathy
