Francisco Cervelli was found to have a concussion Monday after visiting Dr. Kirk Roberts, a neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital specializing in concussion syndromes, the Yankees said.

Could be out the rest of the season, it is his second concussion of the season and third overall.

But seriously, with the big helmet, I wonder if he has a concussion history. Hopefully he's back and healthy so we can continue to have a good time hating him.

I never root for an injury or cheer when one happens, but I did have this reaction when I read this:

That was quite the knock to the head. I was shocked that he was able to stand back up right away much less hold onto the ball. If it's his second this season then he should rest for a good long while.

So sad for the Yankees that they may have to use Jesus Montero...:rolleyestf: They're even stronger now as a result.

I'm definitely not a fan of Cervelli, but that is terrible to hear. We should know after all we've seen BRob go through this year.

With all the concussions, and the new DL... it makes you wonder how common this has always been. How many guys in the past just "rubbed dirt on it."
