It's a cyclical thang. The starters falter, the pen steps up. Other times the pen gets a rest because the starters got deep, This team has a nice balance, on BOTH sides of the ball.

My thing is that our starters have not gone deep enough consistently to avoid wearing the BP out. I think we're seeing some early signs of a BP asked to do too much too often.

I don't think it is the starters so much as all the innings the team has played overall. The extra inning games are killing them.
