I'll go ahead and call it.

Reynolds is about to go on a power tear this last 1/3 of the season and help keep us in the pennant race.

His OPS will be above .750

And if this is wrong, well, it won't be the first or last time.

I'm not a big fan of thread bumps, but you, my friend, deserve it.

I would give you a gazillion rep points if I could.

Since I started this thread, I wish people would stop bumping it...I would like to call reverse-lock on this thread, but he was pretty bad for a while...how good has he been...unbelievable.

I had to weigh in before the thread was closed. I was wrong. I suggested a Betemit/Reynolds platoon several weeks ago. Reynolds is a wrecking crew right now. I'm hoping he'll be here for several more years.

That probably would've been the case if Betemit didn't get hurt. I'm not happy Wilson got hurt, but I sure am happy about how Reynolds has performed.

It is mind boggling that the Yankees threw him 2 2-strike fastballs tonight that he launched. I can't explain it. I just hope they keep putting those belt-high middle babies on a tee for him for the rest of the series. His ABs are drop what you're doing, let the kids cry, make the dog hold it, can't miss events right now.
