At times this season you could almost use the two words interchangeably without being at all wrong, based on the treatment Tillman, Britton, Matusz, and Arrieta have gotten here.

Since I started this thread, I wish people would stop bumping it...I would like to call reverse-lock on this thread, but he was pretty bad for a while...how good has he been...unbelievable.

I had to weigh in before the thread was closed. I was wrong. I suggested a Betemit/Reynolds platoon several weeks ago. Reynolds is a wrecking crew right now. I'm hoping he'll be here for several more years.

That probably would've been the case if Betemit didn't get hurt. I'm not happy Wilson got hurt, but I sure am happy about how Reynolds has performed.

It is mind boggling that the Yankees threw him 2 2-strike fastballs tonight that he launched. I can't explain it.
