Alfredo Aceves suspended by Boston Red Sox for three games
Alfredo Aceves was suspended by the Boston Red Sox for three games, the team announced on Saturday night.

The team said that the suspension was for conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension began with Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals and will run through Monday.

Aceves was angry in the clubhouse following Boston's Friday win, according to the Providence Journal. Aceves has served as the team's closer for most of the year, but that game was closed out by Andrew Bailey.

Aceves slammed the door going in and coming out of manager Bobby Valentine's office after the game, according to mutliple reports.
