He pitched much better than that final line shows. For one, how is that Manny Machado play not an error? Boneheaded play not to throw it to 1st and get the out. And on top of that, with 2 outs and runners on, Strop should do his darn job and get that right handed hitter out. Of course that didn't happen as he proceeded to hit Davis and allow a bases clearing double to Encarnacion. I think he pitched pretty well. Not enough strike-outs, but he's done well with that this year...so no worries.

I believe he is our starter for Friday. Garcia to bullpen.

Well, that's maybe what should happen. What does happen is anybody's guess. When Chen comes back they could shift TJ back to the BP depending on who looks better as a starter between him and Britton, but Garcia should be gone at that point.

* McFarland's Career Major League Debut as a Starting Pitcher

http://baseballpress.com/lineup.php

Balmy Tommy Hunter has not pitched since June 24th, and before that, his last game was on June 21st.

He has thrown 39 pitches total in the last 10 days.

http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/gamelog/_/id/29198/tommy-hunter

He should be raring and ready to go tonight, anywhere between the 3rd and the 7th inning (depending on how well McFarland is pitching.)

The Yankees lineup looks like a split squad spring game. Go get him Mr. TJ. Also CCwill get hit. CC will be CC gone in the fifth.

I hope you're correct.

I like the fact that we have Balmy Tommy waiting in the wings as insurance, though. :)
