RAYS ANNOUNCERS:

"That was a horrible pitch to Cruz just now.

Cruz just swung at the previous pitch that was almost a foot out of the strike zone.

The count was 0-2.

This team (the Orioles) doesn't take walks.

Why in the world would you go anywhere near the strike zone in that spot ???"

I nodded in agreement when he said it too- and same with Jones lol

Thanks for the recognition.

Have a greenie.

2-0 slider was a good one- not so much the one after- that one should been gone. Darnit. Seems like JJ just made sure he put it in the air instead of going full force. But whatever I will take it

    • I just have my doubts on how well Adley ages.
    • Nothing earth shaking here, but Jorge has earned some praise... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/orioles-shortstop-turned-super-utility-man-thriving-in-new-role/ar-BB1mNwen?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=76a29c9120d14d3da11c2fa271d34ac9&ei=19
    • Jered Weaver!! How's that for a random 10+ year old pull? Sadly, he might be the only one! But yes, there has been at least 1.

    • Wow. “Near-ready starter” and consideration in the top 100 based on a breakout in 17.1 IP in AA as a 25 year old? I’d love to see it obviously, but that seems really going out on a limb. Young hasn’t pitched nearly enough in his whole professional career to suggest he can hold up under a full SP workload, or sustain this velo bump. I’m excited for Young and this only reinforces my thought that the Orioles might have something here, but my hopes are still just for a healthy season and maybe he becomes a RP option in 2025.
