Agreed.

Last night, the Yankees had the bases loaded with nobody out in a 1-1 game in the 8th inning.

They didn't get one run.

That team (the Yankees) is headed for 110 losses this season, for sure.

Based on that.

Not based on that. However, championship teams over 162 games do a lot less of what the Orioles did that inning than teams that finish third, fourth or last. So, unless we just wait and only comment at the end of the entire season, one could say that any comment made about any game during the season is not relevant.

No, but Clevenger and Pearce's failure to get their job done means that we just did barely score that inning. We did get one run on an out from a bases loaded, nobody out inning. If Clevenger could have made even a productive out we could have had the lead. My use of "barely" applies to the totality of the inning.

Good use of the word in that case. Pearce did fine. It was Clevenger who failed miserably. Especially since the Double play was not in order. A huge mistake on that 3-1 pitch.

Bases loaded, nobody out. Score 1 run, barely. Championship teams do better.

OK.

And, do you have the stats that show that the Orioles are bad over a long period of time in those situations, compared to the rest of the teams in the league?

And, if Clevenger or Pearce had drilled a 2-run double into the gap, would you have made that post?

You can comment (your) frustration without making gross exaggerations that are baseless.
