Two walk-off wins and a walk-off loss in the last six games.   It’s been quite the roller coaster.

It's been fun to watch, even if not the best-played baseball you'll see.

Imagine if this stuff were happening with a team that was sniffing playoff contention. Now that would be fun. People might even pay to watch, in person, a team like that playing down-to-the-wire games and coming from behind to win some of them.

Of course, you won't see much late-inning excitement in doubleheaders because there aren't many late innings.

In their 52-win season, the O’s had three ten-game stretches where they won more than they lost, one other 5-5 stretch, and then 12 where they lost more than one, including two where they got skunked and another 1-9 skein.

The O’s had three streaks where they went 0-14, 1-14 and 0-19, for a total of 1-47.   Even if you remove those entirely, they were 51-63 (.447) the rest of the time.

The O’s never won more than three games in a row all year, though they managed that feat six times.
