I hated the Ubaldo signing, but he's the better pitcher, walks and all. He's got more than 1 pitch, Ubaldo's issue is not getting hammered by batters, its the historical walk rate this year. Gausman throwing BP every 5th day isn't going to help this team going forward. The book is out on him.

He'll be fine. Maybe not tonight, but he will be fine.

He's been pretty average to bad for a while now. At this point there is no reason to believe he is going to turn it around. We can hope he can, but there is nothing on the field to indicate he will.
