LaRoche can do things Nick can't. He's probably a better defensive first baseman. He has more power. Maybe he can juggle chainsaws. Drive a right-hand drive stick shift. "Things" is pretty wide open.

I think Nick would be the better first baseman if assigned to the task.

Classic Birdland underrating Oriole or the team. How many times did you say the team was a .500 club last season and say all the players were terrible. Markakis is only underrated on here. In the league and among Orioles fans in general he is well respected.
