Interesting article by Jeff Long in Baseball Prospectus. Says that keeping bullpen pitchers together may very well be a factor in building champsionship teams. They cite the Giants and their multiple WS wins the past few years. The chart he has shows that the Orioles are in the middle of the pack as far as retaining relief pitchers.
