DL him, long rehab, bring him up August 12h and you get your 90 days through the end of the season.

It has been 37 days since Opening Day and there are 34 days between the day rosters expand and the end of the season. So he needs to be off the DL for at least 19 days between now and then.

Or, just bring him back September 1st and let him pick up the 19 days at the beginning of next season. Then, option him out.

There going to be room on the roster after the offseason spending spree?

I mean will there be room for two rule V guys since we know Dan is going to pick another one next winter meetings.
