Probably. But within knowing how many pitches this year could potentially have classified as "wild pitches' date='" your 5 number is kind of meaningless. Have there been 20 spikes like that Tillman pitch, and Joseph has stopped all but 5? It seems like so far this year our entire pitching staff has basically had zero command of anything. Is Joseph allowing wild pitches at a higher rate, or is the rate they are being thrown early on just increased a lot?[/quote']

Yeah, I don't have an answer, just something to keep an eye on over time. Like I said, that one wasn't too bad, but I thought the one the other night that went through the wickets because he thought it would bounce instead of skid was a below average play.

Ian Desmond committed his 8th error of the season today, which led to 2 Phillies runs.

And the Phillies won the game by ...... 2 runs.

Oh, yeah. Desmond also made the last out of the game today.

What an absolute nightmare of a season so far for this guy.

He also dropped the ball on a transfer at 2B that would have been a DP. Baseball rules prevent calling it an error ("you can't assume a double play") but it led to a run too.

He did have 3 hits.
