This game does remind one of the bad old Sundays in Yankee Stadium where inevitably we would have the one inning where the whole game just blows up. And them saving Miller and Betances yesterday makes this a virtual lock for them.

Manny dont blame anyone but yourself. That pitch was right down the middle.

Ugly game. Tough when two of your hottest hitters are DH's.I miss Palmer.He would be telling it like it is.

This is a 2011 performance. Inept defense, lousy pitching, hitters that look overmatched- 11 strikeouts in 5 innings. Bad.

After 4 ER in 3.1 innings today, Bud Norris is sporting a 9.88 ERA on the season.

We can't keep carrying a pitcher pitching to a 10 ERA in the rotation... we're just ceding every fifth game to the opposition.

We have guys in the minors now that will do better than a 10 ERA, but we paid Bud this year so we'll ride that sunk cost right into the ground. So frustrating.

Hard to argue with this. We made the move with Ubaldo last year, and Ubaldo was better than this. I have been advocating for Bud to go to the Dl since before opening day.

So how long of a leash do you guys think Norris will get?

Depends on if he has more "quality" starts where the process is poor but the results acceptable.

I don't expect to see him miss a start until June at the earliest.
