I have no idea if it's too early to use this stat, but PFF has this thing where they "charge" a QB for a pressure, essentially saying it's his own fault. This year the number of pressures charged to Lamar have fallen off a cliff. In every previous year he's been in the top-10 (and in several years top-3) among quarterbacks in charged pressures as a percentage of dropbacks. This year he's 30th, at only 6.3%. He definitely hasn't solved blitzes, but it looks like he's figured out how not to hold the ball too long when facing standard pressure. This was a slight problerm for him, and I think Monken is facilitating this a bit by calling a lot more short passes, but it's definitely helping Jackson get into a rhythm with the passing game. -

What a shame. This man essentially lost two pitching life years, had his MLB contract wrongfully terminated and instead was forced to take significantly less money to play overseas. Terrible. We have a lot improve upon in the way we handle things in this country. When will we learn? I’m very glad he was able to win this case and I’ll just leave it at that. -

They really never had an extended streak in either direction I believe. They were just consistent all season. No reason not to expect the same in the playoffs. -

I certainly wasn't trying to judge you. You literally asked for people to tell you what you could possibly be missing and when they did, you got mad. You even made a snarky comment to me about being concerned about your well-being after I simply told you, that you watching the games doesn't make the team lose after you literally said they lose when you watch them so you don't watch them. I personally think you shouldn't ask people for suggestions on things when you are not prepared for some of the answers that you might not like.

Texas, I’ll concur with what many are saying here about their bullpen. Also, as a Tampa native that’s still close friends with many Rays fans, playing them would be much more emotionally charged. I prefer not!
