So did we have some "hittable", pitches earlier in the game? I have been outside mowing and according to Joe and Ben they said Archer had great stuff but some breaking balls were hittable.

*sigh* Tuesday and Wednesday's games were SO winnable for us.

Prediction: we wind up 4-5 on this trip.

Going 5-4 on a road trip vs 3 .500 or better opponents would be considered a very solid trip by any measure.

And we'll probably miss that by 1 game due to the tough losses in NY.

There's still hope. Through 90 games in 2012 the Orioles were just 46-44 and 10 games back of the Yankees. They finished the season 47-25. You could argue this Orioles team is better than that 2012 team and that the 2012 Yankees were better than this 2015 NYY team. This time last season the Orioles were 49-41 and they also finished the season 47-25.
