Yeah, I guess a disappointing career is reason to not call him by his given name, that he's made clear he prefers.

Also, as Stotle said, no reason for SD to give up Ross when they're just swapping bad contracts. Take out Ubaldo's, and they still wouldn't move Ross.

Absolutely no way SD does this. They could get way more for Ross. Maybe if we add Britton and a prospect like Jomar.

Anytime you're talking about Ross I feel it needs mentioning his 2.61 ERA at petco. He benefits from his home ballpark and when asked to make half his starts at Camden Yards we might be looking at a totally different pitcher and not worth the price tag SD will undoubtedly demand.
