I think Wilson is the likely choice here. He'll be up and down with the team all season, I'm guessing.

I really hope it's McFarland. I think he's a fine long man, but I think Wilson is better in that role. I think, ultimately, we see Wilson or McFarland go for Matusz and the other go when Gausman comes back.

That sounds correct to me. It'll depend on usage by Thursday.

I suspect the plan is to have TJM back up Wright tomorrow..

Well half this board is convinced Matusz is awesome because they look at WAR stats but don't actually watch baseball games. I would have cut Matusz loose 2 years ago but whatever....
