That is a fun new theory that the young analytics guys propose. And Brian Kenny. Buck won't be the innovator.

I wonder why we don't see it more though. I'm glad to know it's not an insane idea though. Givens is struggling, so why put him in that situation?

I think we win tonight regardless. Thank God I'm an O's fan, the Ravens botched another drat pick, ha-ha.

Yeah, thought I saw a brief hesitation between 1st and 2nd on his part and was afraid it would cost him. But it didn't.

Or maybe that "hesitation" was just Hardy being slow.

I saw it too. Definitely some hesitation for some reason.

Givens hasn't been struggling.

MYCHAL ANTONIO GIVENS O (FINAL NUMBERS)

Entered the game with runners on 1st and 2nd base, 2 outs, and the Orioles holding a 5-2 lead.

Ceded a walk, then struck out the next batter to end the inning.

The next inning he got 2 quick outs, then gave up an infield single, an outfield single, then struck out the next batter to end the threat.

1.33 shutout innings overall, and he stranded 2 inherited runners.

We will take it Patrick.
