I noticed last year that Palmer would occasionally have trouble speaking clearly. You can still hear him slur on occasion, but I really noticed it last season when he would give post-game recaps and would just struggle so

bad trying to get the words out. Not all the time, but more than a few.

He has done it a few times this game already. He talks perfectly fine the rest of the time.
