The last three games have been awful. It feels like we could have won them all with just mediocre pitching. Especially compared to where I was on Thursday night , I'm pretty down on this team right now. But it's not quite the middle of June, and at the end of a very frustrating series we'll be tied for first or a game out. Not so terrible.

That said, we need to do something about our SP. The first step is to see what we have in Gallardo. Then bring someone in, or bring somebody up, or fix Wright, or build a pitcher, or kidnap one, or something.

The key game in the series was Friday, when Gausman, in typical fashion, coughed up our lead. We had to have that game to split this series. Something has to be done about Jimenez NOW.
