His whip is less than 1. Nice K rate, but the competition is weak.

Tyler Kolodny, 3B from El Camino Real HS. Is it even worth drafting HS guys at this point? Most of them will go to college at this point you'd think.

One thought, and I don't know this for sure is with the changes to the draft and follow (no more), perhaps he's a guy they would normally D&F since he may be going to CC or JUCO? If that's the case, maybe they sign him and send him to the GCL in the chance he develops with them.

I think we'll see more HS late round signees this year because of the D&F change.

My take from the scouting video:

86-89 MPH low 3/4 guy who gets some run on his fastball in on righties, away from lefties. 74MPH slider is inconsistent, but does have decent tilt at times.

Most likely a good groundball pitcher due to the sink on most pitches. Will need to be consistent and get tons of ground balls to make himself a setup guy prospect.
