First inning he gave him borderline calls when he had poor command.

Safe. He gives it away by trying to step on it again. No conclusive evidence that he hit the bag any more than Kim's ball on the line.

Have to say the ump was in great position to see THAT aspect of the play.

Gausman was a fine pitcher when he had Joseph catching him in 2014.

Maybe in the first but he was squeezed on multiple pitches. The point being, it has been small for Gausman but HUGE for the Jays.
