Yeah we don't have great pitching and the offense is giving them no breathing room. If it was 3 or 4 0 you can pitch differently.

It's infuriating that they're paying guys like Ubaldo and Gallardo $11-13 million a year. Is it so much to ask them to be league average starters who can pitch effectively into the sixth or seventh inning every once in a while?

Givens reminds me of a lot of the young relievers the Orioles had during the dark ages. Great stuff with zero control and command. He could end up figuring it out like B.J. Ryan did but I think it's just as likely he'll end up being another Jorge Julio or Dennis Sarfate.
