I really can't understand why Davis isn't getting some time off. He looks like he cannot see anything right now. Complete guesses at the plate. The Blue Jay's have twice walked Machado knowing that Davis cannot hurt them. Buck must know something we don't.

I am not giving up but deep down I thought we have overachieved to this point. I do think Toronto is better than we are. This team has been pretty resilient.

I've said for the last month that the bullpen is trash outside of the top three relievers (DOD, Brach, Britton). I actually think Wilson's by far the best fourth best reliever on this team right now. I would trust him to extinguish a team's rally and keep the game close far more than Givens or Despaigne.

The bullpen was great when they had two key pieces in Bundy and Worley. The lack of starting pitching pulled two key pieces out of it. If you had big three with Worley, Bundy, Givens and a lefty it would be dominate. There missing two key pieces and offense is not giving them a chance to get to top 3.
