Earl Weaver would have intentionally walked Betts, Betts is the best Red Sox hitter against the O's.

I remember one year the Red Sox came into Memorial Stadium with George Scott, Hobson, Rice, etc. and lit Palmer up like a Christmas tree. It happens.

It's funny how people on this board are either criticizing Orioles pitchers or accusing Mookie Betts of using steroids. Maybe Camden Yards is just a bandbox and a great young hitter is taking advantage of the dimensions of this ballpark.

I thought you wrote he jinxed the team. I know you know that's not possible. He seems to get enthusiastic for other teams, but I enjoy him.

He said "if he's gonna hit a hr, he's going to hit it right now" the very literal second before he hit the HR.

It was an amazing coincidence, or a jinx, but either way, he's beyond annoying and should stick to hockey.

The Red Sox will face the Cubs in the World Series. They are BY FAR, the best team in the AL at this point.

Playoffs are a crapshoot.Boswell had some statistics that the best team only wins about half the time.
