Georgia has run 47 plays from scrimmage, while Alabama has only run 24 (one of which was just a kneel-down prior to the end of the half.)

Bad no-call right there.

The Alabama player pushed the Georgia quarterback's head WELL AFTER the play was over, and they called nothing.

 

It should have been a 15-yard penalty, which would have put Georgia deep into Alabama territory at the 24 yardline. Instead, they had to punt the ball 2 plays later.

Yet it was Georgia who fell apart in the 4th quarter.

They had numerous chances to close the game on both sides of the ball, and they didn't come through.

 

Now the game is headed to overtime.

Tagovailoa was very impressive.  Alabama looks to be set at QB for the next few years.  Two freshmen WRs and freshman RB all looked good, too.  Saban is quite a recruiter.

Everyone tries to use the line that you'll ride the bench if you sign with Alabama. I think that Championship game proved all that to be a bunch of bull. Four true freshman on the field on that last play alone. Roll Tide!
