6/19 roster moves

Alvarez being DFA is pretty surprising to me.  He was far from the worst player on the team and was probably a semi-useful piece.  Though any moves for 2018 don't really matter much.

Team's out of contention, Pedro hasn't been hitting and he can't play any positions on the field.  This is hardly surprising.

Maybe Wilkerson was called up for ulterior motives and asked to share a "B-12" shot with Davis.

None of these moves do anything in the scheme of things. I'm just in a waiting pattern to see if the Orioles will really do what needs to be done (clean house).

I'm fine with giving Wilkerson a shot, but really wish the team would bring up Garabez Rosa for a cup of coffee. I know Corban Joseph is a nice story because of his tie in with Caleb, and I know both he and Wilkerson have out hit Rosa, but man, in a lost year, why not give a guy a chance as a lifetime achievement award? Maybe this September.

BTW, before anyone gets on me for this, this is purely a sentimental thought. I just like to see those guys who have been in the minors for this long with one team at least get that one at bat in the majors.

Beckham is suppose to be back soon. They can’t keep Joseph, Wilkerson and Peterson on the same roster. Really only room for 1. Maybe just a quick visit for him.
