Beckham is in Seattle’s OD lineup. Jones is starting for Az, and Caleb will be up soon. The DBacks are carrying three catchers for some reason but Caleb will see time with the big club.

I'm excited to see the new faces. I really didn't watch much last year and I didn't catch any Spring Training since I was busy with classes. It's a new era today. I'm not expecting much this season but I'm happy because baseball is back which means warmer weather and there's no sport I love talking about more than baseball.

I just saw Beckham had made SEA, pretty sure he signed a milb deal.  So really close to not being a MLBer.  Just think about the whole set of position players from last year's OD roster.  Even Rasmus, Valencia, and Trumbo aren't in the MLB.  Sisco is in the minors.  So only Machado, Schoop, Jones, Beckham, Mancini, and Rickard, made 2019 OD roster.  7/13 position players did not.

No argument there. Last year’s team was a total fiasco, and part of my fury at Dan(yes, still an idiot) and Buck and whomever else was responsible is that it was so avoidable. You’ve got to work really hard to have a team as bad and as inflexible as that one was.

There are a few spring statistics that are a good indicator of things to come (k rate, walk rate, etc).  Average is not one of them.

I would be surprised if Jackson isn't the platoon for Mullins this year. It's a good way to give him ABs.

Trumbo would have made it if he wasn't on the DL.  Whether he and Davis deserve to start on a MLB roster is another matter.

I'm a little surprised that people would have issues with Mullins being at the top of the lineup. First off, it's not like Hyde has a ton of great options. Second, why not? He may ultimately be a lower order platoon or 4th outfielder, but I think too many people are burying him because of a bad batting average this spring and his cold September.
